IGNORANCE WAS BLISS
The tarnished golden age of the 1950s

SHORTCUTS (STRUT DANCE) - May 2022
Ignorance was Bliss is a dance-theatre piece of a window into the past, a depiction of a world that was once happier because it was filled with ignorance & innocence. We will transport you back to the 50s, where everyone was doing the twist & playing on the streets until dark. This work reminds us that behind these white picket fences and nuclear families, a generation of bored and neglected women were set to self-implode.
