Linton Elethios

Performer/Teacher

Linton Elethios is a freelance contemporary dance artist, soft tissue therapist, and yoga

teacher whose practice interweaves performance, pedagogy, and a continual reimagining of the creative process. Having worked nationally and internationally, he continues to collaborate with Perth artists, companies, and academies.

Recent performance credits include work with ARTRAGE (The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Immersive Spectacular), Brooke Leeder & Dancers (Structural Dependency), Rachel Arianne Ogle (And the Earth Will Swallow Them Whole), and STRUT Dance & Terrain (CERCLES).

His training spans Latin American, Ballroom and New Vogue Dancesport, Swing Dance,

CounterTechnique, Tae Kwon Do Oh Do Kwan, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, Forsythe Improvisation, GaGa Movement Language, Zambrano’s Flying Low and Passing Through, alongside Remedial Massage Therapy and Fitness & Rehabilitation.

Linton synthesises these movement lineages into a hybrid practice of embodied physics, rhythm, and spontaneous communication, applying this framework in his work training actors and dancers at Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
