Hannah Brookes
Performer
Based in her home town of Yuin Country/Nowra, NSW, Hannah Brookes is an emerging regional contemporary dancer and choreographer. As a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Hannah has received both her bachelor and honours in contemporary dance (2021-2024). Prior to WAAPA she was a junior company member at Austi Dance & Physical Theatre (2019-2020). Since university graduation, Hannah has contributed to creative developments for choreographers Thomas Page (UK), Emma Harrison, and Lola Bond. She has also performed in contemporary works by Layla Meadows, Alisdair Macindoe and Enneagon Movement. In 2025, as a choreographer, Hannah was selected as an uNCOILEd resident artist with Austi Dance & Physical Theatre, presented a group work in Dance Makers Collective’s MOVE FM Sydney Fringe Festival program, performed a self devised solo in ProperMotion Dance’s 4inPLAY season, and in 2026 was a participant in ReadyMade’s Constant Relay program.
