May Greenberg

May is a Boorloo based dance artist, working as a performer, educator and choreographer. Since graduating WAAPA in 2014, she has worked both as a freelance artist, performing and developing works for various independent creators, and for Australian companies including STRUT Dance (WA), CO:3 (WA), Australasian Dance Collective (QLD), and The Farm (QLD).

Between 2022 and 2025, she performed in Sleep No More by Punchdrunk International in Shanghai, China. May has created multiple site specific works for the Fremantle Biennale festival, three iterations of SITU8 (a site specific production what was once curated by STRUT Dance) and for CO:3’s Gathering.2 season.

May’s choreographic voice stems from a strong interest in anthropology, historical events, and the shifts of humans behaviours in society, which leads to narrative, storytelling and emotive character development as common mediums explored in her works
