Zee Zunnur
Teacher
Zee Zunnur is a movement artist whose practice spans performance, choreography, and movement research across the UK, Europe, Asia, and Australia. A long-time member of the Hofesh Shechter Company (UK), she toured internationally as both performer and teacher, appearing in acclaimed productions including SHOW, Shechter Underground, Grand Finale, Double Murder (Clowns/The Fix), and Oedipus, several of which received Olivier Award nominations. Most recently, she served as restager for the Perth premiere of an excerpt from Grand Finale.
Drawing on extensive training, performance, and choreographic experience, Zee has developed a distinctive contemporary movement language. Her methodology, Morphology, integrates cultural heritage, physicality, and contemporary expression.
Zee has collaborated with leading companies, festivals, and institutions internationally. In Australia, her collaborators include Marrugeku, STRUT Dance, Co3, WAAPA, Sydney Dance Company’s PPY, and independent artists. Her recent choreographic works premiered in Sydney, and recently mentored Harrison Cook’s Mata Mata for Blue Room Theatre
